Over 500 people attended the kick off event. The event included an evening of a dinner, an auction and a dance party. Andy Roddick, Mandy Moore and other celebrities were on hand to support their friend Brian as he spoke to the crowd about his Foundation, its goals, and the vision he hopes to pursue in the years to come. Brian, ranked #64 at the time of his event, was the sole ATP player in the Top 100 who graduated from college (University of Virginia). Over $180,000 was raised, and the Brighter Future Foundation was off and running!
